23rd Celebration of Lupines June 11-12

Paying homage to the annual blossoming of the popular wildflower, the Fields of Lupine Festival is a time honored regional event in Sugar Hill, just 35 miles north of the Mountain Fare Inn. What a sight! The brilliant spikes of the lupine flower carpet local fields and pastures in a rolling sea of vibrant purples, pinks, blues and whites with the White Mountains as a backdrop. Local greenhouses and businesses offer lupine plants and seeds to help guests start their own field of lupine.

Special Lupine Events in June:

  • Free Lupine Poetry Walk through the Fields of Lupines the entire month of June –  at the Sugar Hill Sampler, Sunset Hill Road, Sugar Hill.
  • Saturday and Sunday, June 11 & 12 – Festival and Open Air Market – 10-4. The weekend features a gathering of local crafters, artisans and authors plus delicious locally made foods, museum exhibits and a yard sale to benefit the Sugar Hill Historical Museum. There’s also a free concert with the Uncommon Folk and an Official Pollyanna Day Celebration at the Littleton Library on Main Street in Littleton. (It’s tradition to stop by the Pollyanna statue and rub her foot for luck and gladness!)
